Terms & Conditions

  • Bookings are £15 for an hour and £8 for 30 minutes, this is for up to three dogs from one family and then £5 for each additional dog.

  • You must not arrive more than 5 minutes before your walk. This is to respect the walkers and their dogs that may be in before you. Many of our walkers have anxious dogs, and arriving too early may cause them stress for a large portion of their walk. Please be respectful of this.

  • Bookings cannot be cancelled but they can be rescheduled; however, bookings can only be rescheduled 72 hours before the booking is due to start. This can all be done through the same process you did to book the walk. The 72-hour window allows us time to fill that time slot again. It also prevents people from booking during busy periods to guarantee a slot and then reschedule last minute. We hope you understand.

  • The booking is for the immediate family and up to three dogs. Please do not bring friends and extended family without booking or prior notification.

  • All dogs must be up to date with their worming, flea, and tick treatments.

  • Payments are non-refundable and must be paid to confirm the booking.

  • You will be sent your access code by email on confirmation of payment, you will also receive a text 1 hour before your booking starts with a confirmation of the access code.

  • On arrival please follow the instructions below and please consider our neighbours at all times.

  • If you are late you will still need to leave the field by the agreed time.

  • Our fencing is at least 6ft tall and we have double-fenced the bottom. If your dog can jump higher than 6ft then we cannot accept responsibility for them escaping.

  • We have parking for four cars only, so please car share if necessary.

  • Cars are parked at the owner’s risk and we do not accept responsibility for possessions that you leave in your car.

  • Please keep all your valuables safe whilst in the meadow as we cannot accept responsibility for personal items; however, if you do find something, please leave it in the shelter and let us know. We will do our best to find the owner.

  • Please report any issues that arise when using the meadow immediately by email to Marilynsmeadow2021@gmail.com or via our Instagram or Facebook Group.

  • There are bins available for poop, please use your own bags and do not put any poop directly in the bin (Spare bags are available in the black box if you have forgotten yours).

  • A tap is available for water and bowls are provided, please always ensure that you turn the tap off and leave the bowls for the next booking to use.

  • There are balls in the black box for playtime. Please ensure you return them for the next booking to use.

  • If your dog likes to dig, please ensure you fill in any holes before leaving.

  • Treats are available for recall training or for just being good, please note that owners use these at their own risk and we do not accept any liability for any allergic reactions, choking etc.

  • Your booking is for your exclusive use but if one of your dogs attacks a person or dog, or in the event that he/she is involved in a fight, you agree to be responsible for any injuries incurred.

  • You are responsible for your dog’s safety whilst using the fields. We cannot be held responsible for any loss or injury.

Arrival/Departure Instructions

  • If you arrive early please stay in your car in the first car park until your booking is due to start.

  • At your allotted time, unlock the padlock using the code you have been sent. Please shuffle the numbers after you have unlocked the padlock.

  • Move through to the second car park which you should use whilst using the meadow, this is for your dog’s safety.

  • Please ensure all gates are shut for your and other dogs' safety.

  • When departing please ensure you lock the gate using the padlock, even if someone is waiting. Please take your litter home with you.

XL Bully Type Breed Dogs

As you may know, the government has added XL bully types to the list of banned breeds in England and Wales. It is now illegal to breed, sell, advertise, exchange, gift, rehome, abandon or allow XL bully type dogs to stray. The ban does not currently apply in Scotland or Northern Ireland.

If you currently have an XL bully type we are happy for your dogs to be walked for freedom and peace in our meadow.

We want to help but we will require the following information upon booking:

  • Your dog must be registered with the index of exempted dog (IED) and a copy of the registration must be provided to us prior to visiting via email.

  • A copy of the 3rd Party insurance certificate for your dog must be provided upon booking via email.

  • XL Bullies can be walked to enjoy off-lead and unmuzzled fun on their own or with dogs from their own household. Walkers must be over the age of 18 in the Meadow.

  • No other persons from other households are permitted.

  • If there are dogs from different households, the XL Bully would then need to remain muzzled and on a lead.

  • Your Bully must be neutered in line with government deadlines for neutering.

  • Your dog must be micro chipped.

  • All dogs must be kept on a lead and muzzled until the gate is shut when entering the field. Move through to the second carpark and shut the separation gate between carparks.

  • All dogs must be put back on a lead and re-muzzled before opening the gate to leave the field. Put your Bully back in your vehicle before leaving via the first carpark.

  • Please respect all customers.

  • Any customer reported for abusing our system or not following these requirements could face a permanent ban.
